BMW Sales Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our new state-of-the-art Scotthall Stirling Corner dealership in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

 

Selling prestigious BMW models and associated products within a highly motivated and structured sales process environment, the successful person for this very hands-on role will be required to:

- Have an outstanding record of sales achievement 

- Be able to comply with all company and manufacturer’s disciplines, procedures and reporting analysis 

- Be able to work within a defined sales process environment 

- Have good administration skills 

- Have an understanding of database management

Bodyshop Estimator

Scotthall Borehamwood are currently looking to recuit for a Bodyshop Estimator to work in their industry-leading Aftersales facility in Hertfordshire.

 

The successful candidate will be required to satisfy customers needs, take personal responsibility for ensuring that the highest level of customer service and satisfaction is provided at all times. You will also be required to perform both mobile and on site estimating providing the best possible service and quality standards to customers.

 

The role

- To negotiate with engineers on estimate pricing ensuring that the Company obtains the best possible price for that repair.  

- To familiarise yourself with all Thatcham and manufacturers technical bulletins, maintaining those files up to date Pull off all KSD reports for repairs .  

- To prospect on a regular basis estimates carried out to improve the estimate utilisation and follow up procedure within 48 hours of estimate.  

- To handle and update customers in an efficient way to provide the best possible service.  

- To ensure all vehicle details are accurately taken and recorded and all loan car forms are filled in correctly.  

- Answers telephones in polite manner within 5 rings.  

- To cover duties as agreed with the Bodyshop Manager in the absence of other members of staff.  

- To undertake any other duties/tasks assigned to you by the Bodyshop Manager.  

- To ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

 

The person appointed will:  

- Be able to work efficiently and safely to produce work of the highest standard

- Have relevant estimating experience ideally with a franchise, although this is not essential

- Be able to comply with all company and manufacturer’s disciplines and procedures

- Also be looking to further their career within the company.

Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BMW Technician to join our busy Service department at our industry-leading Aftersales facility, Scotthall Borehamwood in Hertfordshire.

 

The successful candidate will be required to word efficiently and safely to produce work of the highest standard, have a minimum of 2 years’ post apprenticeship experience (ideally with the BMW franchise, although this is not essential), be flexible and possess a GSoH, and be able to comply with all company and manufacturer’s disciplines and procedures.

 

The role

- To perform all work assigned quickly, economically and to Company and Manufacturer’s standards.

- To advise the Line Manager if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek his assistance and authority in the rectification of faults.

- To supervise and assist with the training of any apprentice when requested by Senior Technician or Service Executive.

- To maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training, attending courses at suppliers and manufacturer’s and reading technical bulletins as required.

- To discuss with customers, problems with the vehicle as requested (Total Involvement)

- To ensure the Company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers.

- To operate equipment and carry out all duties in a safe manner.

- To maintain equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

- To assist management with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.

- To carry out any other duties as required.
